About Yangon Airways Ltd.

Yangon Airways was established in October 1996 as a domestic airline in a joint venture between Myanma Airways and Krong-Sombat Company of Thailand [2]. It eventually became a fully privately owned airline operating scheduled and chartered domestic flights from its base at Yangon International Airport [2]. In October 2019, the airline was officially rebranded and began operating as Air Thanlwin [2]. Today, it continues to serve various commercial and tourist destinations throughout Myanmar [4].
