Czech Airlines, also known as ČSA, was the flag carrier of the Czech Republic and one of the oldest airlines in Europe, having commenced operations in 1923 [[Czech Airlines](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_Airlines)]. After filing for bankruptcy in 2021 and undergoing reorganization, the airline ceased independent air operations on October 26, 2024 [[Czech Airlines](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_Airlines)]. It was subsequently restructured into a holding company, with Smartwings taking over all flight operations while maintaining the Czech Airlines brand [[Czech Airlines](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_Airlines)].
