About Air Japan

Air Japan Co., Ltd., established in 1990 as World Air Network, is a Japanese airline headquartered at Narita International Airport in Narita, Chiba. Initially operating as a charter airline, it transitioned to scheduled services in 2001 under the Air Japan brand. In 2022, the airline introduced the AirJapan brand, focusing on low-cost medium-haul routes, primarily serving destinations in Asia. However, on October 30, 2025, Air Japan announced the suspension of all AirJapan brand flight operations, effective March 28, 2026, due to restructuring. The airline continues to operate ANA brand international flights, maintaining its role as a key player in the ANA Group's air transportation services.
