About Air Luxor

Air Luxor was a Portuguese airline based in Lisbon that operated scheduled and charter flights out of Portela Airport [1]. Founded by the Mirpuri family in 1988, the company transitioned from private aviation to commercial flights, eventually introducing a low-cost concept called Air Luxor Light [6]. Due to severe financial difficulties, the airline was sold to a group of investors and ultimately ceased all operations in October 2006 [6].
