About Air Canada Jetz
Air Canada Jetz is a Canadian charter airline headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada. Established on October 31, 2001, it operates a premium business service for corporate clients and professional sports teams. The airline's fleet consists of four Airbus A320 aircraft configured with 70 business class seats. Air Canada Jetz serves as the official carrier for all seven Canadian teams and one U.S. team of the National Hockey League (NHL), providing charter services for their travel needs. Additionally, the airline has been utilized for political campaign tours, including during the 2021 federal election in Canada. Despite a brief decision in 2014 to exit the sports charter market, Air Canada Jetz resumed its services in 2015 with a six-year contract with several NHL teams, starting from the 2015–2016 NHL season. The airline continues to operate under the Air Canada Jetz brand, offering tailored charter services to meet the specific requirements of its clients.
