About Aereonautica militare

The Aeronautica Militare is the Italian Air Force, founded as an independent service arm on March 28, 1923, by King Victor Emmanuel III [4]. It operates a diverse fleet of aircraft for national defense, aerial warfare, and aerospace power [3, 4]. While not a commercial airline, it serves as Italy's primary military aviation branch, and its name is also licensed to a popular sportswear brand [2, 4].
