About Gabon Airlines

Gabon Airlines was a Gabonese airline headquartered in Libreville that operated from 2007 until it ceased operations around 2012 [3, 4]. The carrier concentrated on providing scheduled passenger flights to various African and European destinations out of its main hub at Libreville International Airport [4]. It was originally founded by private investors, banks, and insurers, with its first revenue flight taking place between Libreville and Paris [4]. Although the airline was shut down after being banned from European airspace, the Gabonese government announced plans for a relaunch in 2015 [3, 9].
