About Jet Airways

Jet Airways was a major Indian full-service airline that operated an extensive domestic and international network [2, 3]. Launched in 1993, it grew to become one of the largest airlines in India before facing severe financial difficulties [3, 5]. The carrier suspended all operations in April 2019 and entered bankruptcy proceedings [2, 3]. Despite efforts by the Jalan-Kalrock Consortium to revive the airline, it was officially ordered into liquidation in November 2024 [3, 7].
